These two. What an absolute pleasure it was to meet them, get to know them and capture their wedding day memories! Their day was full of laughter and oh so much love. The weather was perfect, the venue was stunning and you couldn't have asked for two more loving people to join their lives together. Here are some photographs from this joyous day!

Kaitlin & Corey, thank you so much for having me capture your wonderful evening! Here are some of my favorite captures, Enjoy! Love Is In The AirThe more I got to know Kale & Jessica the more their love showed for each other.
The way they love is full of respect and care for one another. He encourages her in her in her passions and she enjoys how intent he is with learning, knowing and caring about people. Together these two make a couple FULL of laughter that you can't help to love being around! ♡ Some kind words from this sweet couple: "Nicole, the online photo book you have shared with me is amazing. I can't get over the eye you have and the talent that shines through each and every picture! I am so excited to share these images, and I would personally suggest you to anyone who is looking! Thank you again, I can't get over the images and emotions you were able to capture!" - Jessica So, you have an engagement session coming up and you're not quite sure what to expect? You want gorgeous images reflecting your love and who you are as a couple, but aren't sure how to get there. Don't worry friend, I got you! First and foremost it is my job as your photographer to deliver you back with stunning images that you will treasure for a lifetime and provide you not only with a positive fun experience, but also and experience that brings you closer as a couple. So to ensure you are prepared well ahead of time & know what to expect, here are a couple tips! 1) Wear an outfit(s) that you love. If you have a shirt you can't seem to keep in the closet, wear that! If you have a dress/dress shirt hanging in your closet that you just adore and look for reasons to put it on, wear that! If you're a blue jeans kind of couple, put them on! I want you to feel comfortable, confident and most 'you' in whatever you choose to wear. Here is a guide that can help with color matching for each season: 2) Picking your location can be tough, but I am more than happy to help find the perfect location for you!
I can not tell you how much I love it when couple's pick a spot that is meaningful to them. Such as a first date spot, a family property or somewhere they had meaningful conversations at. Whatever it is, if it is special to you; the magic will fly. 3) Think of a theme you want. Hanging out and being adorable is completely fine by me; but if you want to take it to the next level why not think about a theme to put to your engagement session. Such as; Hanging out at home, washing your dog, a whimsical forest session, bring along big balloons with cute sayings, have a picnic, incorporate your professions, 50's themed, a session on the farm, a session at the golf course..The possibilities are endless! That being said if this is more than you are prepared to deal with, not to worry I am completely prepared to make walking around in our location absolutely perfect for you! 4) Pets, they're part of your family, why not bring them along! That being said it is best to have someone prepared to come get your furry friend so we can have some time with just the two of you with out a cute distraction. 5) The engagement session is a great time to have your hair and makeup trials done and try out your 'wedding look'! Also ladies, having your nails done is great for those up close 'bling' shots! 6) The best time for your engagement session is in the evening. I will always try to book your engagement session a couple hours before the sun goes down. The lighting at this time of day is perfect and will naturally give you beautiful glowy skin and make all around you look surreal as there will not be any shadows or harsh sun. I encourage you to take the day your engagement photos will be taken on as a day spent together. Go out for lunch, write each other letters, play/watch your favorite sport, enjoy your favorite activities etc. So, when it comes time for your photographs you are already naturally closer together than you would be after a long day of running around not seeing each other. 7) Let me do the work. You do not have to worry about posing or anything of the sort. That is my job so you can completely enjoy and focus on your time together as a couple. Thanks for having a read through, friend. I hope this helps you as we prepare on this journey of documenting your love story! ♡ xo Nicole |
